Summary
We are seeking a full time PreK-K teacher to work 8:15am-5:15pm beginning in June, Monday-Friday. Hours will change to 6:00am-3:00pm or 7:00am-3:00pm The Pre-K/K teacher provides classroom leadership to ensure a quality experiences to a group of children and their families in accordance with NH State Licensing standards, policies and practices.
Duties
Engage and supervise children using positive guidance and support.
Lead, communicate, and collaborate effectively with the teaching team and administration.
Plan and implement program activities that are age and developmentally appropriate. Ongoing observations and assessments used to create goals and monitor progress for each child.
Conduct parent conferences and maintain positive relationships and effective communication with parents and staff.
Maintain program site and equipment.
Adhere to standards of safety and cleanliness standards.
Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and activities in accordance with State Licensing rules.
Follow policies and procedures, including those related to Medical and disciplinary situations, abuse prevention, emergencies, and recording 18 hours in professional development in the Professional Qualifications Registry on NH Connections.
Model relationship-building skills in all interactions, develops and maintains collaborative relationships with staff, parents and caregivers.
Requirements
Must be lead teacher qualified with a minimum of 18 credits in ECE and committed to ongoing professional development, Associates or Bachelors degree preferred and ongoing professional development.
Compliance with NH Child Care Licensing regulations
Previous experience working with children in a licensing center (1Yr)
Ability to plan, organize and implement age-appropriate/developmentally appropriate program activities/
Ability to develop positive, authentic relationships.
Must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 40lbs
Ability to use technology
Able to pass state and FBI background check
Sufficient strength, agility and mobility to perform essential functions to safely engage with children and supervise indoors and outdoors
Must wear mask inside facility at all times when with children. Encourage handwashing and consistent cleaning.

Nellie's provides 5,000 square feet of indoor classroom spaces and sits on an acre of land.
