- work cooperatively with the Lead Teacher and assist in coordinating activities with other staff members.
- complete preparation and organization of learning materials for the classroom.
- assist in the implementation of the weekly lesson plans to support children in achieving the learning goals.
- build on your experience working with children, demonstrate creativity, flexibility, good communication skills with children and adults.
- communicate consistently, effectively, sensitively, and respectfully with families and refer them to the Lead Teacher for details regarding their child's classroom experiences.
- participate in regular staff meetings by bringing questions, concerns and ideas to the group for discussions.
- complete a minimum of 15 hours of training/coaching annually in the required content areas as specified by the Office of Children and Family Services.

- Full- time 37.5 Hrs/week 8:30 - 4:30 pm
- Health Check Required
- Fingerprinting Required
- Background Check Required
- 3 References Required with at least one from an employer, student teaching supervisor, or volunteer coordinator if possible.
- Previous Experience working with children ages 2-5 preferred
- CPR/First Aid Certification preferred but not required
