Duties
- Help create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans, classroom schedule and educational activities
- Help organize and lead activities designed to promote physical, mental and social development, such
- Observe and evaluate children's performances, behavior, social development, and physical health
- Meet with parents and guardians to discuss their children's progress and needs
- Adapt teaching methods and instructional materials to meet students' varying needs and interests
- Maintain accurate and complete student records as required by laws and administrative regulations
- Attend professional meetings, educational conferences, and teacher training workshops to maintain and improve professional competence
- Must come to work on scheduled time
- Flexibility as to the hours and schedule of work
- Minimum of six months experience in a Preschool/Childcare Center setting as a Teacher is required for teacher position. No experience required for assistant teacher positions.
- High School Diploma is required.
- A CDA or a course work or degree in early childhood education or child development is preferred but not required.
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to create a positive environment conductive to learning.
- Commitment to culture and philosophy of the school with passion for quality early childhood education
- Clear criminal history and background check
- Fingerprint clearance is required.
- Clear TB skin test - Valid CPR and First-Aid
- Food Handler Card
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- 1 Years of experience as Preschool Lead Teacher
- Paid Time off
Salary : $14 - $18
