Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the physical, emotional, and cognitive development of each child while fostering a positive and supportive learning atmosphere.
Duties
Child Care and Supervision:
- Provide attentive and compassionate care to Toddlers ages 2 to 2-1/2 years of age.
- Ensure infants' safety, hygiene, and well-being at all times.
- Create a comfortable and stimulating environment that promotes growth and development.
- Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum and activities to support infants' early development.
- Plan and organize daily routines, including feeding, napping, and playtime, to encourage growth and learning.
- Conduct regular assessments to track infants' progress and tailor activities to their unique needs and milestones.
- Communicate developmental milestones and concerns to parents and guardians.
- Establish strong, positive relationships with parents and guardians, maintaining open and transparent communication.
- Collaborate with other educators and staff to ensure a cohesive and effective learning environment.
- Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the Older Two's classroom, including proper sanitation of toys and equipment.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations and guidelines at all times.
- Previous experience in a licensed childcare center
- Previous experience working with infants and a genuine passion for early childhood education.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Patience, empathy, and the ability to provide emotional support to infants and their families.
- Ability to lift and carry infants, stand for extended periods, and engage in physical activities.
- Knowledge of child development and age-appropriate teaching methods.
- CDA or certification
