Summary
We are seeking teachers with experience working with children aged 1 to 2 years. Currently, we have an opening for a Lead Two?s teacher! While Florida mandates a ratio of 11 students per teacher, we maintain a maximum of 8 students at any time. This approach supports the sensitive needs of this age group regarding potty training and behavior management, while also providing a less crowded environment that enhances their learning experience. Our team fosters a positive environment with a rotational schedule. This is a full-time position, with hours from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM, including a 1-hour break, 3/4 days a week and a closing shift from 9:00 AM to 5:45 PM, with a 45-minute break, one to two days a week. ( Shift week can vary) but shift times will remain the same
Duties
Work and build relationships with children and parents.
Curate and follow a lesson plan
Work alone in the classroom with or without assistance.
Provide supervision and care for a specific ratio of children at a time
Maintain daily attendance and transition sheets.
Uphold DCF Rules and Regulations
Help children grow in all areas cognitively, and social emotionally.
Provide a loving environment that fosters growth.
Requirements
Willing to start on your 45 hours within 90 days.
Be able to pass a background screening.
Have good references.
