Responsibilities:
1. Overall Building Maintenance:
- Collaborate closely with the Building Supervisor and Facility Engineer to support and execute high-level, complex facility projects, ensuring alignment with operational goals and maintaining project timelines.
- Assemble furniture, perform minor plumbing and HVAC adjustments, handle painting, change light fixtures, and manage other facility repairs as needed.
- Conduct daily inspections of the building to ensure it meets safety and aesthetic standards.
- Address facilities-related issues promptly, including real-time problem-solving during events.
- Maintain cleanliness, including daily trash removal and upkeep of shared spaces.
- Report building concerns and escalate issues to the Building Supervisor as needed.
2. Vendor & Equipment Management:
- Collaborate with vendors for landscaping, janitorial, pest control, handyman services, and security systems.
- Ensure all vendors provide Certificates of Insurance (COI) and signed NDAs before initiating services.
- Monitor vendor performance to meet deadlines and quality standards.
- Maintain a comprehensive asset management list for all technical and non-technical equipment.
- Coordinate equipment replacements or repairs in collaboration with the Building Supervisor.
3. Event & Inventory Coordination:
- Oversee setup and teardown for events, including tables, chairs, linens, and materials.
- Ensure seamless event execution by providing facilities-related support during events.
- Maintain adequate stock levels of food, beverages, and building supplies for employees and events.
- Monitor supply costs and document all expenditures for budget reporting purposes.
4. Safety & Emergency Preparedness:
- Ensure safety equipment (e.g., AEDs, first aid kits) is inventoried, updated, and accessible.
- Assist the Building Supervisor in developing and implementing emergency protocols and safety procedures.
- Manage gym waivers for employees and guests, ensuring proper documentation is on file.
5. General Facilities Support:
- Efficiently distribute incoming mail and packages to respective departments, including shredding for confidentiality.
- Greet and support visitors, ensuring a professional and welcoming environment.
- Use Asana to manage projects, coordinate tasks, and ensure timely completion of assignments.
- Support the Building Supervisor with updating office policies and procedures.
Results:
- Visitors have an exceptional, personalized experience when visiting the building.
- The building remains clean, well-maintained, and aesthetically pleasing, meeting five-star standards for staff and guests.
- All vendor communications are clear, ensuring projects are completed on time and exceed quality expectations.
- The facility remains stocked, organized, and fully operational at all times.
- All issues and concerns are proactively communicated to the Building Supervisor for resolution.
Requirements:
- At least 4 years of experience as Maintenance, Facility Technician, or similar role.
- OSHA 30-Hour Certification - for safety awareness and compliance with workplace regulations.
- Has knowledge of maintenance functions such as plumbing, HVAC, basic electric, general carpentry skills, and painting.
- Possess a high level of technical skill, mechanical aptitude, and attention to detail. Efficient and accurate equipment diagnosis and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with hand tools and the ability to safely and efficiently complete manual tasks.
- Must possess knowledge and experience working with electrical systems operating at 120-277 volts.
- Ability to lift more than 30 lbs and perform physical tasks (e.g., bending, kneeling, standing for extended periods).
- Strong project management and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and customer service skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with Google Suite (Calendar, Drive, Docs, Sheets) and task management tools (e.g., Asana).
- Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as event schedules may require.
Location:
- Full-time position on-site in Las Vegas, NV.
Availability:
- Standard hours of Monday to Friday, 3PM - 11PM
- Occasional after-hours shifts (8:00 PM – 4:00 AM) may be required for upcoming projects. The team will coordinate and alternate schedules as needed, with flexibility.
Compensation:
- $65,00 - $80,000 salary
