Division Description:

ACC AMIC/PKA is home to a diverse team of skilled, mission-focused contracting professionals, who enable Air Combat Command’s (ACC) Cyber Program, Knowledge Based Services (KBS) to Headquarters ACC Directorates’ missions, and commodity purchases for Headquarters ACC Directorates. PKA manages a portfolio of approximately $3.2 billion and supports over 1,869 Contract Man-year Equivalents across multiple MAJCOMS and locations worldwide. PKA is comprised of three branches. PKAA provides dedicated contracting support for AMIC/PMS-managed (Cyber) programs. PKAB provides dedicated contracting support for non-AMIC managed programs for Knowledge-Based Services that supports ACC A5/8/9 - Directorate of Plans, Programs, and Requirements. Additionally, PKAB is responsible for commodity purchases for HQ ACC. PKAC provides dedicated contracting support for AMIC/PMS-managed programs (HPO) and non-AMIC-managed programs for Knowledge-Based Services that supports ACC A3 - Directorate of Operations.

Description of Position:

Contracting Officer would support the $988M Enterprise Human Performance Optimization IDIQ. The USAF has recognized that Human Weapons System Optimization is critical to maximizing mission readiness and combat effectiveness across the Combat Air Force (CAF). HPO provides support to both CONUS and OCONUS operations within the AF and DoD.

Position Responsibilities:

- Contracting Officer positions shall have an unlimited Air Force warrant or the ability to obtain one within 12 months of assuming the position.

- Must Sign the CO Statement of Understanding.

Desired Skills/Expertise:

- Bachelor's degree from an accredited educational institution authorized to grant baccalaureate degrees.

- Active clearance (SECRET).

- Acquisition Professional Development Program (APDP), Contracting Certification – Professional.
