About Us :

ACR Homes provides high-quality home healthcare and support for individuals with disabilities, in a group home setting, across over 40 locations in the greater Minneapolis-St. Paul area. We are looking for dedicated and collaborative individuals for the Co-Residential Supervisor (Co-RS) position.

What is a Co-RS?

This is a team approach to our standard Residential Supervisor role. Co-Residential Supervisors supervise 10-25 exceptional direct care staff and manage the group home program including being an advocate, managing all household operations, and overseeing care for the individuals who have disabilities who live there. The Residential Supervisor is either a live-in or live-out position. Live-in Residential Supervisors (and their spouse and children, if applicable!) live on site rent-free in a 2-3 bedroom live-in area of the home.

Working alongside a co-residential supervisor, this partnership would include 2 supervisors co-leading a home. On-call responsibilities, appointments, administrative work, and meetings would be divided between the two individuals.

24-hour on-call coverage would be required between the 2 co-supervisors. For example, 1 supervisor could be on-call for a week, then they would be "off-call" the following week when their co-supervisor takes over. Both supervisors would be full-time each week between administrative and direct care work. Both supervisors would have a 28-hour direct care requirement per week.

The Co-Residential Supervisor (Co-RS) position is not a typical "punch the clock" type of position but rather a lifestyle that allows you to have a more flexible work schedule including the possibility of some work from home. The Co-RS manages and maintains all aspects of the group home. Examples of tasks you would be completing as a Co-RS :

On-call for shifts (weekdays, weekends, holidays); supervise and schedule 10-20 staff members.

Work 2 direct care shifts weekly (extra hours paid at $25 / hr); evening, weekend, and holiday shifts included.

Supervise staff, create monthly schedules, and ensure shift coverage.

Assist with staff training and conduct meetings.

Manage household operations : grocery shopping, medication orders, and task delegation.

Collaborate with parents, guardians, social workers, and healthcare professionals to develop care plans.

Schedule and accompany residents to medical and dental appointments.

Help residents achieve their goals.

Perform administrative tasks : program plans, medical follow-ups, reports, and budget management.

Maintain the house and grounds, ensuring licensing compliance.

Co-supervise with a partner to oversee healthcare, safety, staff, and household operations.

Interact with residents and provide direct care.

Work with supervisors, coworkers, guardians, and case managers.

Demonstrate leadership, professionalism, and adherence to company policies.

Participate in training and development.

Carry a cell phone, manage house communications (mail, voicemail, email).

Report illegal activity and accept additional duties as assigned.

Pay Rate :

Starting at $47,000 / year

50,000 / year for third year of ACR Homes experience and beyond

Co-RS / Interim Co-RS Annual Base Salary increases as follows :

  • Co-RS Annual Base Salary : $47,000 / year; after two years of ACR experience this increases to $50,000
  • Interim Co-RS Base Salary : $53,000 / year; after two full years of ACR experience this increases to $55,000

Plus, free living expenses may be available a $24,000 value! (rent and utilities)

  • Additional compensation includes optional extra asleep shifts paid at $11.25 / hr, bonuses, and advancement opportunities. Live-in supervisors are responsible for 5 sleep asleep shifts per week as part of their live-in agreement.
  • Additional Perks :

    The RS also has the option to live at the ACR home they manage RENT FREE with utilities included. Live-in supervisors and their spouse / children (if applicable) live rent-free in an apartment on the upper or lower level of the home separate from the level the residents live on. Live-in apartments can comfortably fit a family and include 2-3 bedrooms, 1-2 bathrooms, kitchen / dining area, living room, laundry room, off street parking, and typically outdoor access to either the ground floor or deck. The value of living rent-free is HUGE and TAX FREE, with an estimated savings of over $24,000 / yr.

    Requirements :

    You must be at least 18 years old

    You must have a valid U.S. driver’s license, reliable transportation and a good driving record

    You must be able to do some lifting

    You must be willing and able to work with male and female clients

    You must be able to work independently, and you must have interpersonal skills including empathy, responsibility, self-control, good judgment, and overall adjustment

    You must be able to see, hear, speak, interact, and write in English sufficiently to perform the essential functions of the position
