Senior Project Architect

ACRE Design is a small architectural design firm seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Project Architect to join our team. The ideal candidate will have exceptional leadership skills and a strong background in managing architectural projects from start to finish.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the department and oversee all aspects of the design process for architectural projects, from concept to completion.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and develop project proposals and budgets.
• Lead design teams and ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
• Communicate project progress to clients and internal teams, including construction drawings, schedules, and budget updates.
• Review and approve architectural drawings and specifications to ensure compliance with building codes and project requirements.
• Attend site visits, and meetings with contractors, and coordinate with project stakeholders to ensure projects are executed according to plan.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technology advancements, and best practices to ensure continuous improvement of project management processes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in architectural project management.
• Registered Architect in Nebraska with the ability to be licensed in multiple states.
• Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to lead a team of designers and architects.
• Proficiency in Revit, SketchUp, Bluebeam, and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Knowledge of building codes, construction techniques, and materials.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and team members.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
