SUMMARY
The Cultivation Technician II is responsible for the advanced care, maintenance, and monitoring of plants at all growth stages in the facility while supporting cultivation leadership in key operational tasks. This role involves mentorship of Level 1 Technicians, contributing to compliance oversight, and maintaining the highest standards of facility operations. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
o Plant Care and Advanced Cultivation:
o Execute and oversee daily feeding and care schedules, identifying and addressing inconsistencies or issues promptly.
o Lead by example in pruning and repotting crops, ensuring uniformity, accuracy, and adherence to best practices.
o Proactively monitor plants for pests, deficiencies, or irregularities and implement corrective measures in collaboration with the Cultivation leadership team.
o Provide harvest and post-harvest support including harvesting, and the dry, cure, and trim processes as needed.
· Administrative Tasks and Inventory:
o Maintain detailed and accurate records of nutrient mixes, equipment maintenance, and crop-related activities while ensuring timely updates to leadership.
o Assist Cultivation leadership in planning and coordinating inventory audits, reconciling discrepancies, and optimizing resource allocation.
o Serve as a liaison to the inventory and fulfillment department, ensuring seamless plant tracking and compliance with seed-to-sale requirements.
o Facility and Equipment:
o Proactively monitor the maintenance and cleaning of all cultivation department equipment and tools, including lights, reflectors, mixing tools, application tools, and ventilation equipment.
o Perform daily periodic housekeeping tasks such as sweeping, spot mopping, sanitizing surfaces, reorganizing stock, and maintaining an organized workspace as directed by cultivation leadership.
o Wet clean cultivation space for room flips and dry clean the area as needed to support the business.
o Support Cultivation Technicians with proper calibration, operation, cleaning, and storage of critical tools, including pH, EC, and PPM meters.
o Proactively identify facility or equipment issues and escalate recommendations for repair or replacement to Cultivation leadership.
o Department and Regulatory Compliance:
o Serve as a role model for adherence to health, safety, and operational standards, ensuring proper handling of fertigation systems, environmental controls, and water distribution systems.
o Monitor compliance with SOPs and regulatory requirements, offering corrective guidance to Cultivation Techncians as needed.
o Support leadership in preparing for audits or inspections by ensuring all compliance documentation and facility conditions meet standards.
o Team Mentorship and Leadership
o Act as a mentor to Cultivation Technicians, providing guidance, support, and training to promote skill development, and consistency.
o Assist in the onboarding and guidance of new team members, ensuring they understand processes, expectations, and compliance standards.
· Perform additional responsibilities and other duties as assigned to support the overall success of the cultivation team and company objectives.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Experience
o High school diploma or equivalent – required
o Minimum of 2 years of experience in horticulture, botany, or a related field – required

Additional Qualifications
o Must be 21 years of age or older

o Skilled in navigating and accurately utilizing the company’s seed-to-sale tracking software (where applicable).
SCHEDULE
Available to work [daily schedule], with flexibility for mandatory overtime as required to meet business needs.
