About the Role (Inventory Technician II):
This position of Packaging Tech II offers an opportunity to learn and grow with Greenleaf and take on increasing levels of responsibility. The Packaging Lead will supervise and work with a team to perform all activities required to produce and manufacture the various sizes and types of Packaged Cannabis Flower.
How you’ll make a difference (required duties and responsibilities):
- Ensure accurate and up-to-date inventory of all plant material, cannabinoids, medicinal marijuana products by conducting daily, weekly and monthly inventory counts in accordance with the rules and regulations of the Ohio Medical Marijuana Program.
- Track seed to sale of all products as they leave the facility.
- Assist the Inventory Manager with developing systems, procedures, and methods to ensure that all data reported to METRC is timely, accurate, and compliant.
- Monitor product vault inventory levels and report needed items to inventory and production managers
- Discover and immediately report any discrepancies to the Inventory Manager. Assistance in
- Preparation, submission and tracking of all material for third party laboratory testing
- Assist in overseeing the accurate input of information into various data and work sheets in use by processing and cultivation teams
- In conjunction with inventory and compliance managers, help ensure compliant operation of the facility and report any issues discovered to the appropriate parties
- Conduct weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual inventory audits
- Ensure proper FIFO sequence of fulfillment of finished goods
- The scope of job may change as necessitated by business demands.
- Any other jobs deemed necessary by Inventory Manager.
Skills to be Successful (minimum qualifications):
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 2 years of experience packaging or related field preferred
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices?
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Proficiency with inventory systems and office equipment
- Knowledge of plant tracking software, both PATC-approved and state-mandated preferred
