Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Commercial Auto/Bodily Injury Claims Adjuster to handle litigated and non-litigated claims, including Auto Physical Damage (APD) and Cargo claims, from start to finish. This role requires exceptional claims handling skills and the ability to operate with a carrier-like approach. You will be managing a diverse caseload from across the U.S., ensuring timely and effective settlements while maintaining high professional standards.
Caseload: 100–120 claims, with 30% involving litigated files.
Key Responsibilities
Manage end-to-end claims handling for commercial auto, bodily injury, APD, and cargo claims. Investigate, evaluate, negotiate, and settle claims with professionalism and efficiency. Handle a mix of litigated and non-litigated claims, working closely with legal and administrative support as needed. Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations in all jurisdictions. Maintain accurate and detailed documentation for each claim. Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to drive successful claim outcomes.

Requirements
Experience:
- 5 years in Heavy Commercial Auto/Bodily Injury claims handling or a similar role.
- Experience with APD and Cargo claims is a huge plus.
- Litigation experience is not required but preferred. Exposure to litigated claims is essential.
- MUST hold an active adjuster license.
- Licenses in Florida (FL) and/or Texas (TX) are required.
- A California (CA) license is ideal and may replace the need for FL/TX licenses.
- Preference for candidates licensed in multiple states.
- Skills & Knowledge:
- Strong understanding of commercial auto/trucking insurance principles.
- Proven ability to handle claims efficiently with minimal oversight.
- Typing speed of 65 WPM.
- Background:
- Insurance carrier experience is highly preferred over pure TPA experience.
- A mix of both carrier and TPA experience is acceptable.
- Commitment:
- Mandatory one-week onsite training at US Admin HQ in Knoxville, TN (travel and accommodations fully covered).
- Provide upcoming PTO within the first six months as part of the application process.
- Majority of experience exclusively from Gallagher or Sedgwick within the past two years.
- Lack of exposure to litigated claims.
- Onsite Training: Candidates must commit to attending training in Knoxville, TN. Travel is arranged and fully covered by US Admin.
- PTO Policy: Limited PTO during the first six months. Candidates must disclose any planned time off within this timeframe during the application process.
