Job Summary:
Learning the meaning of the principles of insurance. Individual contributor representing the most common entry point for a career path in account management; works under direct supervision. Perform tasks related to account management, like creating reports, scheduling client meetings, performing research and updating client documentation and records. They typically receive daily direction from account executives or account managers. Required to obtain the necessary insurance license(s).
Responsibilities:
- Maintain and update paper and electronic client financial and bond files
- Receive and dispatch correspondence promptly
- Act as liaison with surety companies and maintain surety relationships
- Act as liaison with clients and client staff
- Assist Producers
- Assist other team members
General Administration Duties Include:
- Preparing routine/follow-up correspondence – paper and electronic
- Copying
- Scanning
- Filing
- Drafting and/or sending electronic and/or paper correspondence
- Preparing overnight packages and receipts
- Telephone answering and responding to voice messages
- Assisting in mailings
- Other administrative support, as directed

Technology Skills:
- Applied EPIC or similar agency management software experience is highly desirable, but not required
- SurePath/Tinubu or similar surety bonding software experience, preferred but not required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
Education and/or Experience:
- Prior surety bond experience is highly desirable
- At least three-years of office-based customer service (other than food or retail)
- Prior bookkeeping and/or accounting experience (desirable)
- Prior customer service in banking or insurance (desirable)
- Prior paralegal experience is desirable
- High school graduate required; college experience preferred
- Prior experience in a professional office setting (minimum of 3 years)
