Job Summary:
The Associate Account Manager for Commercial Lines is responsible for assisting the Account Managers with service needs on existing clients. Specific service responsibilities are assigned per guidelines, procedures, quality and service standards as stated by the agency.

Job Summary:
The Associate Account Manager for Commercial Lines is responsible for assisting the Account Managers with service needs on existing clients. Specific service responsibilities are assigned per guidelines, procedures, quality and service standards as stated by the agency.
Experience Required:
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- Active 4-40 or 2-20 Insurance License (Florida)
- Minimum 1-2 years’ experience in Commercial Lines Client Service
- Preferred, but not required: Epic agency management system experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team (Multiple Account Managers, Client Advisor)
- Detail-oriented and efficient in handling multiple requests in a timely manner
- Basic understanding of commercial insurance coverages and terms
- Others duties and special projects as deemed necessary and assigned by Management
- Provide support to Account Managers on existing client accounts including but not limited to:
- Issuing certificates of liability insurance and evidences of property insurance
- Processing and requesting policy changes within agency management system
- Requesting loss runs for renewal marketing files
- Preparing summaries of insurance
- Assisting with premium collections
- Answering client questions and concerns within breadth of insurance knowledge. Demonstrate willingness to ask for assistance from Account Managers if unsure of accurate response to client requests.
- Respond timely to client and/or Account Manager requests to deliver extraordinary client service and avoid potential E&O issues.
- Help maintain client accounts in Epic with a high degree of accuracy including proper documentation and following agency workflows
- Maintain open activities for outstanding requests and follow-up on past due items. Respond to carrier requests for additional information in a timely manner.
- Participate in team meetings regularly with Account Managers and Client Advisor
- Participate in continuing education and other training opportunities to develop knowledge and skills
- Provide backup support to others as necessary and assigned by Management
- Keep Account Managers fully informed of important occurrences on all accounts
