Job Summary :
Personal Lines and / or Commercial Lines Underwriter.
Responsibilities :
- Handle risk selection and pricing -
- NEW LINES - determine acceptability of risks by reviewing, evaluating and rating submissions.
- RENEWAL- determine renewal actions by analyzing claim reports and pre-underwriting reviews.
- Evaluate loss Control Reports. Recommend corrective actions and monitor progress.
- Complete underwriting file documentation by adhering to established underwriting standards.
- Build and Maintain producer relationships - training producer our company's procedures, product knowledge, and underwriting guidelines. Resolve producer's problems / concerns; Portfolio management - monitor producer's production and loss ratios.
- Prepare reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.

Annual Salary : $60,000 - $80,000
