The Center for Learning Resources, Library, Media, and Instructional Technology seeks a Librarian to provide reference services face-to-face and online and collaborate with academic departments in assigned liaison areas. The candidate will oversee the information literacy program and is responsible for planning, coordinating, program assessment, and delivering course-related instruction, on and off campus, and online. The candidate is expected to collaborate with faculty to develop instruction tailored to course assignments, program marketing, lead librarian information literacy meetings, communicate best practices, develop online tutorials, Libguides, and instructional materials. Flexibility in performing various tasks to meet the evolving needs of the library is required. Knowledge and commitment to the goals and mission of the community college and evidence of responsiveness to and understanding of the diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, disability, gender identity, sexual orientation, and ethnic backgrounds of community college students are required, as these factors relate to the need for equity-minded practice within the classroom.
