PLC Engineer / Controls Engineer
Location : LIMA,OH,45801 ( Osnite )
Long term contract
Position Description :
- Use plant monitoring software to review cycle times of machinery, review and follow up machinery project's and installations
- Troubleshoot PLC, robot, and other machinery problems
- Update program backups for machinery
- Program new installations of machinery and conveyor systems
- Reprogram machinery for engineering changes and improvements
Skills Required :
o Fundamental working knowledge of PLC logic and controls - Siemens and / or Indramat PL7 o Electrical Background (electrician or technician) o Related experience o Siemens and Indramat servo and VFD drives o Familiarity with VFD’s, Armor starts, encoders, network / Ethernet controls
Experience Required :
2 years of related controls and debug experience
Education Required :
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
o Ability to independently troubleshoot equipment and continuously evaluate equipment for improvement for quality and delivery o ABB robot experience o Microsoft office including excel, powerpoint, word, etc. o Ability to read prints, AutoCAD, interpret and modify electrical schematics o Ability to read blueprints
