Data Scientist

Location: Lexington, KY

Pay rate: $85/HR - paid weekly!

Designs, develops, and implements methods, processes, and systems to consolidate and analyze diverse data sets including structured and unstructured. Develops software programs, algorithms, dashboards, information tools, and queries to clean, model, integrate and evaluate datasets. Keeps abreast of new analytic methodologies and technologies. Collaborates with functional business units to drive business solutions and direction.

Responsibilities included but are not limited to:

•Design, develop, and deploy AI models using machine learning frameworks like TensorFlow and PyTorch

•Fine-tune and train AI models using large datasets and cloud-based infrastructure

•Create data pipelines for transforming and ingesting data from various sources, including databases, APIs, and file systems

•Develop and maintain data visualizations and metrics to monitor AI system performance and usage

•Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop AI systems

•Troubleshoot and debug AI systems using testing frameworks and debugging tools

•Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices

Must Have:

•Experience with Generative AI and inference

•Proficiency in Python (3.x) and experience with machine learning frameworks like TensorFlow and PyTorch

•Experience with SQL databases and data warehousing

•Experience with cloud platforms like AWS and Microsoft Azure

•Familiarity with containerization using Podman (or Docker)

•Knowledge of testing frameworks and familiarity with debugging tools

•Experience working within an Agile development framework

•Minimum Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field with at least 5 years of experience
