Job Title: Electronic Technician

Location: Minneapolis, MN (MN003)

Duration: 12 Months (Possible ext.)

Pay Rate: $35/hr on W2 basis (without any benefits)

Position Summary:

Seeking an experienced electrical/electronic technician to work in its Electrical Engineering Lab. This position will support complex product and support equipment; design, development, fabrication, assembly, test, inspection, troubleshooting, rework and repair.

Skills Required:

Required skills include proficient use of electronic test equipment, electrical assembly tools and hand tools. Specific skills include: • Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings and sketches. • Precision and fine motor skills required for micro/nano scale fabrication, assembly, test with near zero defects. • Must be able to demonstrate high degree of mechanical aptitude. • and J-STD-001 or have knowledge of these requirements. Conduct tests using electronics test equipment (ie. Scopes, meters, etc) and generate test report data. • Able to work as part of a group or team. • Maintain a safe work environment and ensures compliance with safety objectives and policies.

Skills Preferred:

Preferred skills include • Ability to communicate feedback to the team to support design, fabrication and test improvements. • Cirris and/or Automated Test Equipment operator experience • Troubleshooting of electronic, electrical systems • Trained and proficient in manufacturing & quality requirements of IPC/WHMA-A-620 Class 3, IPC-610 Class 3 and J-STD-001 or have knowledge of these requirements

Experience Required:

Minimum of 2 years as a technician performing related tasks, either in a production or prototype environment

Experience Preferred:

Desire experience, 2 years working in an engineering product development, test, or production environment.

Education Required:

2-year technical degree

Candidates must be eligible to obtain a Secret clearance
