Embedded Engineer
Location: DEARBORN,MI,48120 ( Onsite )
6 Months of Contract
Position Description:
Body Module Engineering Analyst: 1. Work with Body Module SMEs to support FSA audit process. This involves researching background documents (14D, 8D, emails, etc.) and generating evidence of compliance for the audit process. This includes maintaining detailed tracking and status documentation for each affected FSA workstream for Director report outs. 2. Work with Body Module BCM Engineers to identify and resolve BCM Quality initiatives. This includes working in Jira, creating tasks and managing follow-up discussions with the cross-functional engineering teams.
Skills Required:
• Self-starter with ability to multi-task and work with minimal supervision. • Strong electrical systems and body module experience. • Knowledge of Dealership repair methods. • Strong communication and leadership skills for cross-functional cooperation and issue resolution. • Experience with Ford and computer systems (WERS, Jira, VSEM, IVS, Audit, GRID, Team Center, Integrator, MS Office, etc.)
Skills Preferred:
• Experience with automotive assembly plant production environment. • Electronic circuit design, embedded software, circuit board layout, and electronic module manufacturing.
Experience Required:
5 years of experience in automotive system or body modules.
Experience Preferred:
10 years would be ideal
Education Required:
BSEE, BSME, BSCS from accredited university.
Education Preferred:
MSEE, MSME, MSCS from accredited university.
