Job Summary:
We are seeking an entry-level HR Assistant to support various departments and act as a liaison for HR-related tasks. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in HR principles, with a preference for knowledge of ADA and EEOC regulations. This is a public-facing role that may involve providing backup support at the front desk and handling employee inquiries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform a variety of HR duties, including maintaining records, processing paperwork, and authorizing documentation.
- Provide administrative support to the HR team by managing employee files, coordinating terminations, and onboarding new hires.
- Serve as a point of contact for employees, addressing day-to-day queries related to leave, pensions, holidays, and other HR-related matters.
- Assist with phone coverage and provide backup support at the front desk as needed.
- Interact effectively with employees at all levels of the organization.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an HR-related role with a strong understanding of HR processes.
- Basic knowledge of ADA and EEOC regulations is preferred.
- Associate degree preferred but not required.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to handle public-facing responsibilities.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
