JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Project Overview:
- The IT Programmer will be responsible for upgrading (or creating new) Oracle database and data warehouse views, stored procedures,Unix Shell scripts, batch jobs, and other items from multiple legacy, on-premises Oracle databases (12c and 19c} to our new, cloud-based ERP database solution (Oracle 19c).
Key Responaubilities;
- Develop new PL/SQL queries, scripts, and stored procedures to support data integration between the legacy data warehouse and the new ERP.
- Modify and optimize existing PL/SQL code to improve performance and functionality.
- Collaborate with the project team to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Perform data anatysis and validation to ensure accuracy and completeness of data transfers.
- Document all developed code, scripts, and procedures thoroughly.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data integration and interface functionality.
- Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Oracte s PL/SQL is essential.
- Experience with data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.
- Experience with UNIX Shell scripting and Scheduler Jobs (Cosmos or Automate).
- Experience with SQL*Loader and mod_ptsql package.
- Strong anatytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Prior experience in ERP data integration projects is a plus.
- Ability to pass a background check.
Minimum Education Required: High School
Experience and Skills Required:
- Proficiency in Oracle s PL/SQL is essential.
- Experience with data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.
- Experience with UNIX Shell scripting and Scheduler jobs (Cosmos or Automate).
- Experience with SQL*Loader and mod plsql package.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Functional and efficient PL/SQL code (or other scripting code as required).
