POSITION PURPOSE:
We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to manage all project aspects of a key client program. Your job will be to coordinate people and processes to ensure that projects are delivered and implemented on time and produce the desired results every time. You will be the go-to person for everything involving a project’s organization, timeline, and fulfillment after the sale, for this specific program.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Collaborates with multiple internal and external stakeholders to deliver world class customer experience and successful on-time delivery of customer projects.
- Develops project plans and schedules. Ensures resource availability and allocation. Delivers every project on time within budget and scope.
- Nurtures relationships with strong trust and rapport across internal team members, customer project stakeholders, and 3rd Party contractors/vendors.
- Drives and tracks project success and improvements via key metrics, dashboards and performance indicators.
- Manages multiple ongoing projects simultaneously from point of sale acceptance through delivery and installation at customer site to successful invoicing at project completion. Maintains full project load while meeting key project metrics.
- Understands and optimizes multiple customer-impacting components and systems required for successful implementation of electronic locking systems
- Documents all project related activity and customer interaction in Salesforce. Uses other tools as necessary to report project status and performance.
- Ability to manage smaller groups of connected projects (a portfolio) with additional reporting and tracking requirements by customer.
- Utilizes tools such as Salesforce, Oracle, Excel and/or Smartsheet to track project activities and metrics and report to management.
- Develops Standard Work for role and activities.
- Ability to train new employees and instill high standards of performance with coworkers.

Qualifications
- Associate degree in Business Administration or relevant field plus 1 year Project Management experience and 2 years experience in customer service, scheduling or administrative support role.
- 5 years Project Management experience in lieu of a degree.
- CAPM, PMP / PRINCE II certification desired.
- BA/BS degree preferred.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (with importance on PowerPoint, Excel, Word), Windows, Office365, Outlook, Salesforce and Oracle.
- Strong organizational, time management, project management, and analytical skills.
- Technical/mechanical aptitude a plus.
- Superior follow-through skills.
- Experience managing multiple priorities or projects simultaneously and keeping them progressing to successful completion.
- Experience in supporting multiple cross-functional team members with an ever-evolving variety of tasks.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on providing best in class service.
- Experience in establishing, measuring and meeting metrics applicable to specific role requirements and reporting to management on progress.
- Ability to work on a variety of special projects as required by management.
- Demonstrates clear, professional, and proactive communication, both verbally and in writing.
- Demonstrated ability to root cause potential issues in complex projects as well as solution/action those issues.
- High level of initiative to continuously improve processes and customer experience through action and ownership.
- Ability to create program specifications, standard work, and training documents.
- High degree of ability to interface with the customer and internal staff, make independent decisions, and recognize and solve problems with little or no supervision.
- Previous experience in a position that required significant exposure to high profile customers and projects preferred.
