Description:
Job Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute research investigations using experimental and numerical techniques to improve thermal performance of power electronics device and package.
- Perform device and system level thermo-fluid simulations to gain understanding of the performance and trade-offs.
- Porous material design and potential fabrication for thermal management solutions including vapor chambers and two-phase cold plates.
- Document learnings in internal reports and external publications to disseminate knowledge.
- Generate innovative ideas, new project concepts, and demonstrate innovative thinking to solve technical problems.
- Generate and capture novel intellectual property in patents.
Requirements:
- PhD in Mechanical Engineering
- Proficient in 3D CAD software such as SolidWorks, and simulation software such as ANSYS and COMSOL.
- Excellent ability to analyze and interpret experimental data.
- Ability to work both independently and in cross-functional teams.
- Excellent oral and written English language skills.
