Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop new hardware products, including printed circuit boards (PCBs) and mechanical components
- Revisions to existing products to improve functionality and integration
- Capture schematics and design PCBs
- Evaluate vendors and fabricators to assure quality and price
- Attend weekly engineering meetings and report project status
- Process Engineer Change Requests
- Perform mechanical design of hardware chassis, including sheet metal and PCB mounting
- Provide guidance and interface with production to ensure error-free assembly
- Provide customer support when inquiries are received
