Our Opportunity
The selected individual will inspect all incoming, purchased materials, parts, and parts that have undergone special processing and product destined to be incorporated into final products. TTO’s received for purposes of supplier process verification prior to first article production, or product manufactured complete per customer purchase order requirements. Receiving inspection is the process of verifying documentation and inspecting these articles upon receipt in order to verify compliance to the requirements of the Purchase Order, as well as to identify those persons who conduct and/or are responsible for the management of this activity. This is applicable to the Quality Control and the Receiving functions, and indirectly to the Purchasing, Engineering, and Manufacturing functions.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Review incoming documentation (ie Emails, Visual- (Purchasing tab) Purchase Order Entry, Purchase Receipt Entry, (Eng/Mfg Tab) Labor Ticket Entry and Manufacturing Window).
- Review Certifications and Work Orders and verify they match Purchase Orders. Compares quantity and part number of items received with procurement data and other specifications to ensure completeness and accuracy of order.
- Inspects purchased parts, assemblies, accessories, and materials for conformance to specifications, using precision measuring instruments and devices: Examines items for defects in materials, work, and damage occurring in transit.
- Enter verified information into Purchase Receipt, (if applicable) close operation in labor ticket.
- Trouble shoots non-matching information and makes corrections when needed.
- Create stencil if cert is for final or painted.
- Forward received stamp certifications to Accounting.
- Scan the original certifications and file hard copies.
- Approves or rejects items, and records inspection.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
General Aerospace manufacturing and receiving knowledge and experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to read and interpret documents in English such as procedure manuals, purchase orders, etc. Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
