The chosen candidate will work on the upkeep and maintenance of the Automated Storage and Retrieval System (ASRS) in our warehouse automation department. Key responsibilities include troubleshooting electrical issues, monitoring the operational condition of all robotics components, and maintaining motor controls.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for detecting and resolving mechanical issues impacting the ASRS. They will also troubleshoot electrical issues and monitor the operational condition of all robotics components. Motor control detection and maintenance are additional key responsibilities.
Skills Required
This role requires the ability to use power tools effectively. The candidate should be able to follow instructions according to established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Familiarity with various levels of automation and associated systems integration and standards is required. Strong planning, organization, and prioritization skills are necessary for success in this position. Self-motivation with minimal direction and supervision is also important. Effective communication with departmental staff, both written and verbal, is a key requirement. Leadership and motivational abilities with strong analytical and problem-solving skills are also desired.
