EnviroScience is seeking to add an Emergency Response Manager to our team of highly respected scientists at our Brentwood, Tennessee regional office. Our ideal candidate will take an active role in a fast-paced, multifaceted area environmental response.
Essential Responsibilities & Duties
- Respond to Emergency Responses including train derailments, oil spills, and other emergency responses. Be on call and able to travel to various emergency responses for extended periods of time
- Manage the technical, financial and client relationship aspects of a variety of emergency responses and environmental projects
- Effectively lead, engage and mentor EnviroScience emergency response team members
- Training of emergency response personnel and ensure efficient mobilization of personnel and equipment to emergency responses
- Plan and lead the implementation of environmental site assessments, subsurface investigations, environmental permitting, and multi-media sampling projects.
- Prepare site specific sampling and analysis plans, work plans and data summaries
- Regulatory agency interaction and coordination
- Participate actively in professional organizations and conferences; deliver presentations, and write technical papers.
- Demonstrated ability to complete concurrent assignments in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities, and stay on schedule.
- Strong communication skills, strong organizational skills, and be self-motivated, thorough, and detailed in their work.
