Position: Administrative- Birth Registrar
Location: 725 North St, Pittsfield, MA 01201
Duration: 13 Weeks with High possibility of extension.
Shift: PART TIME 8hr days 32hr guarantee. (7:30 AM - 3:30 PM).
Locals Accepted
Summary (including but not limited to): Completing birth certificates and fetal death certificates on BMC Birthing Unit. This candidate will also service Unit Administratively and perform secretarial duties.
Submission Requirements
- 3 years current experience as office registrar
- Will service Birthing Unit Administratively - Will process Birth Certificates
- HS graduate or GED
- Demonstrate the ability to effectively interact with patients, families, other health care providers required.
- Ability to prioritize and accomplish multiple job tasks on a daily basis to meet the needs of the department required.
- Knowledge of Medtech/Excel & Word preferred.
- Valid Driver License required for this need
- Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision/assistance
- Ability to comprehend, speak and write the English language
- Knowledge of medical terminology required
- Must possess sight/hearing senses or use prostheses that will enable these senses to function adequately so the requirements of the position can be fully met.
