Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled CAD Drafter to join our team. The CAD Drafter will be responsible for creating technical drawings and plans using computer-aided design (CAD) software. This role requires attention to detail, strong technical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with engineering teams.
Responsibilities
- Develop detailed schematics, diagrams, and blueprints using CAD software
- Collaborate with engineers and designers to understand project requirements
- Modify designs based on feedback from engineers or clients
- Ensure all drawings adhere to project specifications and industry standards
- Assist in creating bills of materials and other documentation
- Review and analyze technical specifications
Qualifications
- Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SolidWorks, or MicroStation
- Experience with mechanical design and drafting
- Knowledge of NavisWorks for 3D model review is a plus
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in work
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
What We’re Looking For:
- 3 years of professional drafting experience (required).
- Associate’s degree in drafting (preferred).
- Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar drafting software.
- Strong understanding of land surveying principles.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $35.00 - $37.00 per hour
