ACS is an Architectural firm, looking to hire a part-time Accounting Associate for its Newport Beach, CA office. This position reports to the Senior Director of Accounting.
The Accounting Associate performs customer service, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and other administrative duties to support company operations and maximize company revenue and profitability.
Responsibilities:
Accounts payable
Contract filing
Process/reconcile vendor/consultant invoices/statements
Working with Excel spreadsheets
Generating reports
Handling miscellaneous office tasks
Setting up and preparation for meetings
Periodic receptionist responsibilities
Written communication primarily through email
Experience working in Deltek Vision / Deltek Vantagepoint software would be a plus!

To excel in this role, the ideal candidate should meet the following qualifications:
A background in finance or accounting with a solid understanding of bookkeeping
Familiarity with Deltek software is advantageous, but not required
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Teams, Word, Excel, Outlook)
Strong customer service abilities
Excellent written communication skills in English
Hours of Work & Pay: 20 hours per week. Salary is commensurate with relevant experience.
Job Type: Part-time, in office
Schedule: Hours to be approved by supervisor, Monday thru Friday between 8 am - 5 pm
Education: High school or equivalent (required). Accounting degree (preferred)
Experience: Bookkeeping and Accounts payable 3 plus years (required)
Language: English (required)
