- Experience with COBOL, CICS, JCL, and EZTrieve on z/OS 4.2.0/V3.2 or higher.
- Proficiency in object-oriented programming languages such as VB, C#, or Java.
- Expertise in software design, including creating program specifications, prototyping, and developing logical data models.
- Strong background in business/systems analysis, including preparing functional specifications, documenting workflows using UML tools like Visual Paradigm or Visio, and identifying potential problem areas in systems.
- Extensive testing experience, including developing test cases, creating comprehensive test plans, executing them, and validating results at both the data and system levels.
- Proficiency in DB2, version 10 or higher.
- Skilled in debugging using CA-InterTest or similar tools to resolve program and user/system issues.
- Experience in consuming and testing web services using tools such as SoapUI.
