Job Title: Database Management Support

Location: Fairfax, Virginia (Onsite)

We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide expert services in enterprise-level implementation, maintenance, and tuning of databases in UNIX and Windows environments.
• Assist in the development and execution of enterprise database server architecture.
• Install, configure, and maintain Oracle RDBMS and related communications software.
• Monitor server performance and adjust database instance parameters to maximize performance.
• Provide specialized support for Oracle databases supporting SAP, with expertise in Oracle for SAP-specific engagements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot database issues and ensure efficient performance across all systems.
  
  

Required Skills And Qualifications

• 2-4 years of experience as a Database Administrator or SQL Database Developer.
• Expertise in Oracle Database Administration, including installation, configuration, and maintenance of Oracle RDBMS.
• Experience with SAP database architectures, specifically Oracle for SAP environments.
• Strong understanding of SQL databases and performance tuning in both UNIX and Windows environments.
• Ability to monitor server performance and optimize database instance parameters for maximum performance.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail in managing database performance.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Oracle for SAP database architecture.
• SQL Database Developer and Administrator experience.
• Strong understanding of enterprise database architectures and best practices.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with technical teams.
