- Experience in managing 3-5 simultaneous application development projects as a Project Manager, including both Commercial Off-the-Shelf (COTS) and in-house solutions. Successfully ensured vendors delivered timely and comprehensive implementations of version upgrades, installations, configurations, custom development, triage, incident troubleshooting, and testing, all in compliance with the Secure System Development Life Cycle (SSDLC).
- Proven experience in overseeing project execution and control as a Project Manager, with responsibilities for creating and maintaining project budgets, schedules using MS Project, project scope, status reports, communication plans, comprehensive project management plans, and upholding quality standards throughout the entire project lifecycle, from initiation to closeout.
- Skilled in developing and managing formal project schedules using project tracking tools like Microsoft Project. Expertise in tracking progress and variances against baselines, utilizing Waterfall, Agile, and Hybrid methodologies, conducting scrum sessions to update schedules, and presenting schedule and status updates to ITS and client agency leadership.
- Extensive experience in drafting, managing, and refining detailed Scope Documents, reviewing project deliverables, overseeing the deliverables acceptance process, and managing project change requests using a structured scope and deliverable management process.
- Strong background in project quality planning and assurance, encompassing end-to-end system testing, quality control, user acceptance testing (UAT), defect tracking, metrics management, and quality governance.
- Expertise in managing and leading multi-phased, high-visibility projects, with experience reporting to senior government IT leadership on state or federal projects. Specialized experience in criminal justice projects, including work with Correctional and Community Supervision Services and Criminal History Information Systems.
- 36 months of post-PMP certification experience in implementing business process re-engineering and organizational change management projects.
- Federal Experience is a plus.
- Required Security clearance.
