Job Title : Data Privacy Officer

We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualifications
Responsibilities :
- Create, implement, and maintain comprehensive data privacy policies and procedures in alignment with legal requirements (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
- Conduct regular audits and assessments of data processing activities, identifying potential compliance risks and recommending corrective actions.
- Manage and respond to data subject requests (access, rectification, erasure, etc.) efficiently and in compliance with legal timelines.
- Develop and deliver training programs for employees on data protection principles and best practices to foster a culture of privacy awareness.
- Conduct Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs) for new projects, products, and processes to identify and mitigate privacy risks.
- Lead investigations into data breaches or security incidents, coordinating with relevant teams to develop response strategies and report findings to stakeholders.
- Serve as the main point of contact for regulatory authorities and work closely with internal teams, including IT, legal, and marketing, to ensure data protection measures are integrated into business processes.
- Maintain detailed records of processing activities and ensure appropriate documentation is in place for compliance audits.
- Stay updated on evolving data protection regulations, industry trends, and best practices, and implement necessary changes to policies and procedures.
- Assess third-party vendors for data privacy compliance, ensuring contracts include appropriate data protection clauses.
