We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualification
Responsibilities :
- Administer and maintain MUMPS database environments (including backups, restores, upgrades, and patching).
- Configure and optimize MUMPS database systems for performance and scalability.
- Manage user access and permissions within MUMPS databases.
- Monitor database performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement performance tuning techniques.
- Recommend and implement changes to improve database performance and efficiency.
- Provide troubleshooting support for MUMPS database-related issues, including diagnosing and resolving data corruption, database crashes, and system performance issues.
- Collaborate with application teams to resolve database-related problems and optimize the database schema.
- Implement and enforce database security measures to protect data integrity and confidentiality.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and best practices related to data security and database administration.
- Design, implement, and test backup and disaster recovery plans for MUMPS databases.
- Monitor and ensure that backups are regularly performed and are stored securely.
- Create and maintain documentation for database configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.
- Generate regular reports on database performance, availability, and usage.
- Work closely with other teams such as developers, system administrators, and business analysts to ensure that database-related needs are addressed efficiently.
- Participate in database design, integration, and migration projects.
