Job Title : MUMPS Software Engineer
Location : Remote
We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualification.
Key Responsibilities :
- Design develop and maintain MUMPSbased software applications to meet the evolving needs of healthcare organizations.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams (product clinical IT) to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Write efficient reusable and scalable MUMPS code that supports healthcare systems like Electronic Health Records (EHR) Patient Management Systems (PMS) or similar applications.
- Integrate MUMPS applications with other healthcare systems and thirdparty services ensuring smooth data exchange and interoperability.
- Perform regular software updates ensuring enhancements and bug fixes are implemented efficiently.
- Collaborate on database design and management using MUMPSbased databases such as GT.M or Cache.
- Ensure that the software meets industry standards healthcare regulations (e.g. HIPAA HL7) and organizational requirements.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with MUMPSbased applications in a timely manner.
- Provide technical support and guidance to other departments helping to optimize existing solutions.
- Contribute to software documentation and ensure that systems are welldocumented for future reference and troubleshooting.
- Participate in code reviews ensuring that the software is developed according to best practices and industry standards.
