Job Title : Oracle Database Administrator Performance Tuning & Migration
Location : Austin, TX (Hybrid)
We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualification
Required Qualifications :
Expertise in Oracle Database 12c or higher, including administration and maintenance.
Strong experience with Oracle Real Application Clusters (RAC).
Proficiency in Oracle GoldenGate for real-time data replication.
Advanced knowledge of SQL for performance tuning and query optimization.
Strong shell scripting skills for automation and database administration.
Experience managing multi-terabyte databases with heavy transaction volumes.
Expertise in advanced performance tuning techniques.
Experience using Microsoft O365 applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio).
Experience working with Microsoft Teams and Channel communication in large teams.
Preferred Qualifications :
Experience working with public sector organizations (Federal, State, or Local Government).
Familiarity with SharePoint for document management and collaboration.
Experience using Jira for project tracking and issue management.
Knowledge of the Scrum framework and Agile methodologies.
Responsibilities :
Perform advanced performance tuning on complex processes for multi-terabyte databases.
Install and configure Oracle Database 19c, Oracle RAC, and GoldenGate to establish a new database tier.
Conduct capacity planning for the ERP upgrade project.
Administer backup, recovery, monitoring, troubleshooting, and tuning of databases.
Support project teams with database administration and optimization.
Implement and enhance database security standards and assist in monitoring disaster recovery procedures.
Design and execute performance benchmarking and threshold testing for databases.
Establish and enforce data integrity, redundancy control, and security protocols.
Ensure EIR Accessibility compliance, providing support for user interfaces and assistive technologies.
Work collaboratively in a remote environment, using Microsoft Teams and other collaboration tools.
Provide clear documentation and communicate effectively with diverse technical teams.
Work outside standard business hours as needed for project activities and system maintenance.
