Job Title : Senior IT Project Manager

Location : Remote

We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualifications :

Key Responsibilities :

Lead, plan, and execute large-scale IT projects, including infrastructure upgrades, software implementations, network installations, and other technology initiatives.
Collaborate with business leaders, technical teams, and external vendors to define project requirements, set expectations, and ensure alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
Develop comprehensive project plans that include scope, timelines, milestones, resource allocation, and risk management strategies. Ensure adherence to project timelines and budgets.
Proactively identify potential risks and issues, develop mitigation strategies, and resolve project challenges to keep initiatives on track.
Manage cross-functional teams consisting of developers, engineers, analysts, and other IT professionals to ensure smooth project execution.
Oversee project budgets, track expenditures, and ensure resources are effectively allocated to meet project goals.
Ensure that IT solutions meet defined business requirements and quality standards, conducting regular testing and validation before deployment.
Maintain project documentation, including project plans, status reports, risk logs, and issue trackers. Provide regular project updates to stakeholders and executive leadership.
Continuously assess and improve project management processes, methodologies, and tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Manage relationships with third-party vendors, ensuring that deliverables are met on time and within budget.

Qualifications :

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Experience in IT project management, with a focus on large-scale IT projects.

Proven track record of successfully managing IT projects from initiation through to delivery, including managing scope, timeline, and budgets.

Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, software development, and systems integration.

Solid knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Scrum, etc.).

Experience with project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Jira, Trello, Asana).

Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage diverse teams and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.

Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities to handle complex IT challenges.

Experience managing vendor relationships and third-party contractors.

Ability to handle multiple projects and prioritize effectively.

Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to maintain focus in a fast-paced environment.

PMP (Project Management Professional) or similar certifications preferred.

Experience with cloud technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure) and IT service management (ITIL) is a plus.

Master's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field.

Certification in Agile or Scrum methodologies (e.g., CSM, PMI-ACP).

Experience in cybersecurity, infrastructure modernization, or enterprise system integrations.

Familiarity with Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment (CI / CD) processes.

Federal Experience is a plus.

Required Security clearance.
