Job Title : Senior UX Researcher and Tester
Location : NY (Remote)
We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualification
Preferred Qualifications :
Experience creating design artifacts such as wireframes, prototypes, and visual designs to support project objectives.
Collaboration with UX designers to develop and refine a cohesive design system.
Hands-on experience working in agile environments and cross-functional teams, with familiarity in agile methodologies and best practices.
Experience working in multidisciplinary teams to improve service delivery.
Proficiency in UX and agile tools such as Figma and Azure Boards for project collaboration.
Experience leveraging analytics tools to track user behavior, collect quantitative data, and inform UX decision-making.
Special Requirements :
Strong understanding of design thinking principles, with experience participating in design sprints, ideation sessions, and design reviews.
Knowledge of accessibility standards (ADA, WCAG compliance) and conducting accessibility evaluations.
Must be able to pass an assessment conducted by NYC hiring managers.

Responsibilities :
Conduct and manage user research activities such as interviews, surveys, usability testing, and contextual inquiries, utilizing automated tools for insights synthesis and persona generation.
Analyze research findings using AI-assisted tools for trend analysis and predictive modeling to provide actionable recommendations for product enhancements.
Utilize web analytics to validate user research findings, assess service design recommendations, and drive iterative improvements.
Develop and maintain user personas, journey maps, and research artifacts to align insights with cross-functional teams.
Design, execute, and oversee usability testing protocols, including participant recruitment, intelligent test scenario generation, facilitation, and sentiment tracking for comprehensive analysis.
Collaborate with UX designers to translate research findings into wireframes, prototypes, and design specifications.
Contribute to design sprints, ideation workshops, and reviews, offering expertise in research methodologies and usability testing.
Work closely with developers to ensure seamless implementation of design solutions, providing guidance on interactions, behaviors, and user experience considerations.
Continuously assess and enhance the usability of MyCity through ongoing research, usability testing, and real-time data analysis, leveraging AI-driven predictive trend modeling to advocate for user needs.
Required Skills & Experience :
8 years of experience in UX research and usability testing, with a proven ability to lead independent research initiatives in agile environments.
Strong expertise in various user research methodologies, including interviews, surveys, usability testing, and contextual inquiry, with a deep understanding of qualitative and quantitative research techniques.
Experience in planning, conducting, and analyzing research activities, utilizing AI-assisted tools for dynamic insights synthesis and automated analysis.
Demonstrated ability to design and execute usability testing protocols, including participant recruitment, remote and in-person testing, facilitation, and results analysis.
Proficiency in Figma for designing wireframes and prototypes, with advanced skills in building interactive design assets for user testing.
Strong collaboration skills, working with UX designers and product owners to translate research insights into actionable design solutions.
Exceptional communication skills, with experience presenting research findings and recommendations to diverse stakeholders.
Experience conducting and moderating remote usability testing using platforms such as UserTesting, and selecting appropriate tools for usability research.
Proficiency in sourcing and screening participants for usability tests, scheduling sessions, and managing participant incentives while ensuring diversity.
