Project Description
595 O&M Company, LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of ACSID. 595 O&M is responsible to perform all maintenance and renewal work for the I-595 interstate system until 2044. I-595 is Broward County’s major east-west thoroughfare used by residents and visitors to get to work, shops, entertainment venues, the airport, Port Everglades, and the beaches. The I-595 consists of three at-grade reversible express toll lanes known as 595 Express, serving express traffic to/from its direct connection with I-75/Sawgrass in the west to I-95 and Florida’s Turnpike in between. The Project is a public-private partnership (P3) between FDOT and I-595 Express, LLC (the
“Concessionaire”) The Concessionaire has contracted with 595 O&M, for a period of 20 years, to perform all maintenance for the assigned facilities including work associated with Roadway, Structures, Drainage, Roadside, Vegetation and Aesthetics, Traffic Services, Incident Management, Road Rangers, Traffic Management Cetner Operations, and all related Intelligent Traffic Systems (ITS).
Essential Functions
− Monitoring operations, assuring that the organization’s standards are met by monitoring the progress of all Work performed on the project, improving the overall safety of the workplace
− Reviewing and updating the organizations Safety & Quality Policies and Safety & Quality Procedures for continuous safety and quality improvement
− Assist with monthly and annual different required reporting.
− Update per FDOT requirements the Roadway Characteristic Inventory.
− Compliance with all regulations and requirements
− Coordinate with all departments to ensure the project meets or exceeds all Safety regulations required by Federal, State and Local law as well as that of the Concession Agreement and specifically those of OSHA
− Maintaining a workplace that is free from hazards
− Identifying any potential risks and working with management to implement measures to prevent accidents or incidents
− Organizing with all departments to ensure the project meets or exceeds all regulations and Concession Agreement deadlines, Maintaining compliance
− Maintaining records of Testing and Work, Recording project procedures and results for future reference
− Guiding team members on how to best follow Procedures
− Conducting Audits and Creating Audit reports
− Ensure proper quality and safety protocols and training requirements are available and met
− Compliance with all regulations and requirements
− Working with vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure that they meet the organization’s standards for quality and safety
− Overall responsibility for process control and leading process improvement efforts to refine quality and safety protocols and increase compliance with quality and safety goals.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
− High School diploma or higher; with relevant work experience
− Armed Forces Service is highly adaptable
− Valid Driver’s License
− Self-Starter
− Flexibility and capacity to work under time pressure and constraints
− Excellent oral and written communication and strong interpersonal skills; leadership skills
− Ability to develop working relationships with colleagues, advisors, contractors, etc. across office locations and time zones
− High ethics and moral character; sound judgement
− Honest and transparent
− Self-starter that is motivated and ability to take initiative
− Experience with Word and Excel, other programs, such as IBM Maximo or other asset maintenance programs are highly desirable.
