Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to design, develop, and oversee the integration of electrical systems for industrial enclosures and power generation equipment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical design, AutoCAD, and industry standards such as NEC and NFPA.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and coordinate work with Drafters, Designers, and Senior Designer.
- Review job submittal packages, customer furnished information to plan and design work, make recommendations.
- Perform panel loading calculations and balancing for load centers, panelboards, and switchboards.
- Compose Bill of Materials (BOM).
- Work effectively in a group setting, team-oriented, self-motivated, and results-driven on short timelines.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering and 5 years' experience.
- Experience working with multiple discipline projects.
- Knowledgeable in National Fire Protection Association/National Electrical Code.
- Advanced knowledge of AutoCAD 2015 and/or Mechanical.
- Excellent Microsoft Office software skills.
