What You’ll Do:
Provides strong and collaborative leadership to the IT corporate systems development team
- Successfully delivers (on-time, on-budget, with high quality) IT programs and projects
- Evaluates existing technology operations, policies and procedures against industry best practices and evolving needs of the organization, then develops plans to address gaps and mitigate risks.
- Evaluates business needs, objectives and goals, researches products and solutions available and designates procedures to best address these needs.
- Makes purchasing decisions/recommendations based on identifying the needs and researching the available solutions for the business operation within the constraints of available resources and capital. Negotiates with and manages vendor relationships and assess vendor performance in alignment with IT best practices.
- Ensures successful delivery, integration, and administration of corporate wide SAAS products Manages and oversees the deployment/implementation, monitoring, maintenance, development, upgrade, CI/CD pipelines, and support of corporate systems and development servers.
- Establishes and maintains regular written and in-person communications with the organization’s leaders and end users regarding pertinent IT activities.
- Manage related budgets within IT functions.
- Accomplishes Corporate IT Development results by communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; developing, coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; and initiating, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, and procedures
What We’re Looking For:
B.S. in Computer Science, business, or related field with 5-7 years experience in IT Systems, or an equivalent mix of education and experience
- Demonstrated ability to lead a team, ensuring a collaborative environment
- Demonstrated ability to negotiate contracts
- Strong communication and people skills, as well as coaching and career development skills
- Ability to articulate project scope and priority based on goals of management and organization High attention to details
- Ability to see the big picture to expand past the current task at hand
- Ability to prioritize for self and team with multiple projects
- Ability to embrace and initiate change
- Agile experience required
