What are the responsibilities and job description for the Salesforce Developer - Hybrid position at ACSC Auto Club Of Southern Calif?
As our Salesforce Developer based in either California or Texas, you will create Salesforce solutions to enhance, improve and fix the software that provides emergency roadside services. Your work will directly impact our customers who need immediate help to get to their destination. Your code helps people get home quickly and safely.
What You’ll Do
You will attend scheduled stand-up meeting with your peers to discuss projects, testing, and ask for feedback so we can deliver solutions on time.
Attend refinement sessions to understand how you can improve. You ask questions and use your past work experience to offer suggestions for improvements and new approaches to solving problems.
Create and unit test high-quality code, in pairs and on your own, to translate business requests into Salesforce fixes. In this environment, it’s critical that you can provide specific, actionable, and helpful feedback to teammates about their code so we can stay on our development timeline and deliver a product we’re proud of.
What You’ll Need
A sense of ownership and responsibility to the team. This is not a ticket-driven position that solely focuses on your assigned work. As a mid-level developer you are expected to help mentor juniors on the team, support larger initiatives, and demonstrate the attitude and skills which making you a candidate for a senior position on the team.
To thrive in this role, you must have experience working in a position where you had to ask questions to understand business needs and work collaboratively with your team to deliver Salesforce-centered code solutions.
You were not an order-taker but a true collaborator in designing and delivering the solution.
You will also build tests for your work, both unit and functional using testing automation. It is your responsibility as the creator, maintainer, and reviewer to ensure any code you encounter meets proper coding and quality standards.
You are willing to ask why and push back to get to the right answer, not just the easiest one.
You have worked previously with an Agile team or understand these concepts. You expect to participate in daily standup meetings, you’ll complete your projects or stories during our sprints, and you’re ready to meet frequent deployment deadlines.
