Please Note: This position is hybrid; however, you must reside within driving distance of our offices in Los Angeles, CA, Coppell, TX or Pittsburgh, PA to attend meetings and team collaboration.

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Platform Engineer with expertise in AWS Cloud Development Kit (CDK) using TypeScript who thrives in ambiguity, proactively turning loosely defined business challenges into effective solutions.

In this role, you will support feature teams by automating cloud infrastructure tasks, ensuring best practices with automated guardrails, and driving the adoption of new security and cloud patterns. This role requires a self-starter who is eager to dive deep into problems with minimal guidance and drive impactful outcomes.

What You'll Do

• Cloud Infrastructure & Automation: Manage AWS cloud operations with a strong emphasis on CDK with TypeScript, enabling scalable and secure infrastructure as code.
• Feature Team Support: Automate IAM role security, enhance CI/CD pipelines with security scanning, and manage networking components like VPC setups.
• Security & Compliance: Implement automated guardrails to ensure compliance with AWS best practices and security standards.
• Tooling & Security Enhancements: Identify, implement, and maintain security tools such as DAST (Dynamic Application Security Testing) and SAST (Static Application Security Testing).
• Cloud Best Practices & Patterns: Define, develop, and promote new cloud infrastructure patterns within organizational guardrails to improve security, scalability, and efficiency.

What You'll Need

• AWS & Cloud Infrastructure Management: Experience with AWS services and cloud infrastructure management.
• Infrastructure as Code: Proficiency in AWS CDK with TypeScript for infrastructure automation.
• CI/CD & Security Integration: Experience with CI/CD pipelines and integrating security scanning tools.
• AWS Security & Networking: Solid understanding of IAM role creation, VPC networking, and logging in AWS.
• Security Best Practices: Knowledge of security best practices, including automated guardrails and security scanning tools (DAST/SAST).
• Cloud Innovation & Governance: Ability to drive innovation in cloud patterns and governance.

Nice to Have

• Certifications & DevSecOps: AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer) and familiarity with DevSecOps principles.

The starting pay range for this position is:

$103,800.00 - $153,100.00

Additionally, for full time positions, you will be eligible to participate in our incentive program based upon the achievement of organization, team and personal performance.
