Director of Missions and Outreach at Belmont University
The Director of Missions and Outreach is a part of the University Ministries pastoral team and is responsible for planning and overseeing Christ-centered local, domestic, and international mission opportunities for undergraduate and graduate students at Belmont University. Responsibilities also include general UM roles and tasks that contribute to the ministry to and care for Belmont students, faculty, and staff.

Job Duties :
- Provide local outreach involvement, leadership, and training opportunities for Belmont students.
- Develop, coordinate, and implement missions and outreach programming for undergraduate and graduate students.
- Collaborate across campus to increase discipline-specific, staff-led, and faculty-led international missions programming.
- Coordinate local service ministry opportunities for students.
- Oversee the Service Year program, a residentially based service-oriented, living / learning Christian community.
- Oversee the on-campus Room in the Inn programming.
- Plan and lead Justice and Missions Week in coordination with the University Minister.
- Direct, plan, and implement Christian formation activities for all students, regardless of religious background, related to missions and outreach programming.
- Contribute to the overall ministry of the UM Office by :
Playing a contributing role to Chapel, student leader training, Minister-on-Call, etc.
Education : Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited four-year college or university required. Master's degree preferred. Degree(s) in a ministerial or theological field preferred.
Experience : 2-3 years of experience in formal ministry with young adults, including planning local service and / or missions opportunities. Higher education experience preferred.
