Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain laboratory equipment and supplies for experiments.
- Conduct routine laboratory tests and experiments following prescribed procedures.
- Analyze data and document findings accurately.
- Ensure proper calibration, maintenance, and cleaning of laboratory instruments.
- Follow health and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
- Record and manage experimental data, ensuring accurate record-keeping and data entry.
- Maintain inventory of lab materials and order supplies as needed.
- Assist in the preparation of reports and presentations for research or project purposes.
- Assist senior staff with research and laboratory-based projects.
- Dispose of laboratory waste following safety and environmental guidelines.
- Follow quality control procedures to ensure accuracy and consistency in results.
- Collaborate with other laboratory personnel to troubleshoot issues and optimize experimental procedures.
Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree in a related field (e.g., biology, chemistry, or medical technology) or equivalent practical experience.
- Previous experience working in a laboratory setting preferred.
- Strong knowledge of laboratory equipment, techniques, and safety standards.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills (both written and verbal).
- Proficiency with laboratory software and data analysis tools is a plus.
Physical Requirements:
