PARTS ASSOCIATE

JOB DESCRIPTION
DEPARTMENT: Parts Department FLSA: Non-Exempt
REPORTS TO: Warehouse Manager EFFECTIVE DATE: 4/16/2025
SUMMARY: This position is responsible for pulling and stocking parts.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Verifies part numbers and quantities of received items, pulls & restocks and replenishes items in assigned area.
- Enters stock items into ERP system.
- Marks and labels inventory goods.
- Utilizes first in/first out inventory, attentive to serial numbers.
- Verifies quality control parts.
- Performs cycle counts when needed.
- Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
- Maintains an organized and clean work environment.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be able to keep workspace organized and clean.
- Good reading, writing, and basic mathematical skills.
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work well both independently and in a team environment.
- Ability to multi-task
- Strong attention to detail.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- Frequently required to stand.
- Frequently required to walk.
- Continually required to utilize hand and finger dexterity.
- Continually required to bend, stoop, kneel or.
- While performing the duties of this job, the noise level in the work environment is usually very quiet.
- The employee must lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision; distance vision; color vision; peripheral vision; depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
- Specialized equipment, machines, or vehicles used: bag sealer.
