RETURNS SPECIALIST
JOB DESCRIPTION
EMPLOYER: A.C.T. Entertainment FLSA: NON-EXEMPT
DEPARTMENT: Production
REPORTS TO: Production Floor Manager
EFFECTIVE DATE: June 3, 2024
SUMMARY: This position is responsible for handling all customer returns as products are distributed throughout the facility.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Issues Return Merchandise Authorizations (RMAs) to sales department.
- Records and maintains all Return Merchandise Authorizations (RMAs) in log throughout the process.
- Communicates with the sales and production group on what is expected from the customer.
- Ensures orders are prepared for returns that need repairs.
- Keeps customer supplied parts identified in area, separate from main inventory.
- Updates and informs the sales department of order status.
- Breaks down identified returns for scrap.
- Tests transformers, pedals and specialty cables through sound.
- Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED), or one to three months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Basic Computer skills.
- Good communication skills.
- Knowledge of products.
- Great organizational skills
- Detail oriented.
- Ability to work well with a team and independently.
