Description : Job Summary :
We are seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Dietitian to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in clinical nutrition and a strong commitment to promoting healthy dietary practices. This role involves assessing patients’ nutritional needs, developing and implementing nutrition plans, and providing education and support to patients and their families.
Key Responsibilities :
- Nutritional Assessment : Conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments for patients, considering medical history, dietary habits, and health goals.
- Care Planning : Develop and implement individualized nutrition care plans based on patients’ needs and medical conditions.
- Patient Counseling : Provide one-on-one and group counseling sessions to educate patients on healthy eating habits, special diets, and lifestyle changes.
- Collaboration : Work closely with healthcare providers, including doctors, nurses, and other dietitians, to ensure coordinated and comprehensive patient care.
- Monitoring and Evaluation : Monitor patients’ progress, adjust nutrition plans as needed, and document outcomes in electronic health records (EHR) systems.
- Education and Training : Educate patients, families, and healthcare staff on nutrition-related topics. Develop educational materials and conduct workshops or seminars.
- Compliance : Ensure all dietary practices comply with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as organizational policies.
- Research and Development : Stay current with the latest research in nutrition and dietetics. Participate in research projects and contribute to the development of new dietary guidelines and protocols.
